I really liked this book and it most definitely helped me study There are NO practice tests included in this purchase!! In any case the book is an excellent resource and a reference manual you will refer to for years to come as you build your practice. My classmates purchased the second edition, which was written in bullet point formatting with graphics corresponding to the text on the same page. Get the most out of your study time--take an exam, identify areas that need additional study, review the materials, and repeat the exam.

The practice tests were really discouraging that I bought with this course. The types of questions were very similar. Speech pathologists can talk about language, development, and the field in general, but they cannot diagnose or treat in this subreddit.
Customer Book Reviews Only study tool- passed the Praxis! I find it's ok to have when studying but not worth the money. I would not advise purchasing this book without the accompanying flashdrive. It's well organized and a great compilation of 6 years of speech-language pathology materials. By Michelle on Dec 30, This is a great place to start. But, as I was reading, I was able to recall info from classes without pulling out textbooks, so it really did help me get an idea of what I knew and what still needed more work.
Additionally, you will receive an analysis of your results, a comparison of your scores over multiple administrations, and a comparison with the scores of test takers from across the country. I wish I had had this book at the beginning and throughout the speech program.
